The influence of the mycorrhization with black truffle in growth, gas exchange and mineral nutrition of Pinus halepensis
Abstract
Influence of Tuber melanosporum Vitt mycorrhization in plant quality of Pinus halepensis Mill. was assessed from June to November during first nursery year. Seedlings were regularly watered. Mycorrhization causes increment in height, diameter, root and aerial weights, and number of root shoots induced. Mycorrhized plants showed both higher phosphorous and lower calcium concentration levels. Under water availability, influence of mycorrhization on water potential of the plant is not well defined, although both photosynthetic and transpiration rates occasionally increased.Downloads
