Dendrochronologies of the Eastern Galician Mountain Ranges: Ancares and Courel (Lugo, Spain)

Abstract
This paper presents the first results of a dendrochronological study carried out in the Eastern Galician Mountain Ranges: Seera de Courel and Serra dos Ancares. Four chronologies were obtained and synchronized, their pointer years were compared among them as well as with those from other Euroepan chronologies are presented. The analysis of some of thir major variables show the possibility to include them in other Spanish and European chronologies and allows us to start a further dendroclimatological study.Downloads
